トロールの森2024「風のにおい」

子供のころ、風で揺れるススキの中を通り抜けている時なんとも言えない心地よさがあり、ススキが揺れるたびに風が可視化されているように感じました。

この提案では、まるで生態系の一部のように地表からFRPファイバーが生え、ススキのように風に揺れながら空間を作り出します。それは群生する植物のようであり、緩やかに囲う建築のようであり、また家具のようでもあります。

FRPファイバーの頂部には小さな天板（揺れるテーブル）があり少しくつろぐことができます。置くものによってFRPファイバーの固有周期が変わり、可視化される風の形が変わります。

風は匂いを運ぶが、置いたものの匂いや重さといったものが風に影響を与えることで、持ち主は自身が風の匂い（カタチ）の発信源になっていることに気づきます。

本来は感じることしかできない「風」という存在に、利用者が作品を通して干渉することで風と相互にコミュニケーションをとることができる装置の提案です。

When I was a child, I felt an indescribable sense of comfort as I walked through the wind-swept awn, and each time the awn swayed, I felt as if the wind was visualizing it.

In this proposal, FRP fiber grows from the ground surface as if it were part of an ecosystem, swaying in the wind like silver grass, creating a space. It is like a cluster of plants, a gentle enclosure of architecture, or a piece of furniture.

At the top of the FRP fiber is a small tabletop (swaying table) where you can relax for a while. Depending on what is placed on the table, the intrinsic period of the FRP fiber changes, and the shape of the visualized wind changes.

Wind carries smells, and the owner realizes that he or she is the source of the smell (shape) of the wind, as the smell and weight of the placed object affect the wind.

This is a proposal for a device that allows users to communicate with the wind by interfering with the existence of wind, which is essentially something that can only be felt, through the work.
